How to Download Twitter Videos on PC

  1. Copy the post link

    On x.com, click the Share icon under the post, then Copy link. With the post open, you can also copy the address from the address bar.

  2. Paste it here

    Click the box above, press Ctrl + V, then press Enter or click Download.

  3. Pick a quality

    Click the MP4 size you want. Your browser shows the file in its downloads panel.

  4. Open the file

    Press Ctrl + J to see your downloads, or open File Explorer and go to Downloads.

Tips

  • To choose a folder, right-click a quality button and pick Save link as.
  • MP3 audio saves the sound only, which is handy for podcasts and music clips.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Avoid sites that ask you to install an extension or a program to download.

Which browsers work?

Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera and Brave on Windows 10 and 11.

Where does Windows save the video?

In your Downloads folder, unless you changed it in your browser settings. Press Ctrl + J to open the list of downloads.
